Capricious is her name.

It has been a strugle, searching for a name for my 22ft Catalina Capri. It finally came to me after I read an article in a sailing magazine online where a fellow was having the same problem with naming his boat, he wrote down five names on a post it note and asked his friends and family. They coundn't commit either so he wound up pulling one from a hat.

My short list has been stuck to my computer monitor for about a week and I have had the boat for over two years. Update I got suggestion from a group member of the yahoo sailing fourm I am a member of, and I like the suggestion. Capricious. So there it is Capricious, the new name for my boat. Now begins the blog for Capricious and her adventures with me. I hope you enjoy.

This is my first attempt at a blog. What is a blog anyway? I guess it is a great way make public my experiences with my boat.

I had a hard time finding a name for my boat, finally decided on "Capricious".

Now Capricious is "on the hard" that sailor speak for in storage. She is at AAA climate control storage in Oak Harbor, WA.

I hope to blog regularly and keep it interesting.
