I think it was august or September I made three trips to Lopez to check out what would be my first sail boat. John S. The previous owner was more than accommodating while I gave the boat a good through look over. On the third trip we were ready to put her in at Fisherman's bay and send me on my way on my first solo passage down to Whidbey Island.
